How great is this film?? Very great, let me tell you.
For those who haven't seen it, "Love and Other Drugs" tells the story of a charming young man, Jamie, who after losing his job selling electronics, becomes a drug rep for Pfizer. While trying to convince a doctor to prescribe Zoloft instead of Prozac, he meets a free spirited girl named Maggie and learns that she has early-onset Parkinson's disease. Jamie befriends her through sex without attachment and soon falls in love with her. He also begins a quest to try to find a cure for her disease, but Maggie doesn't want anyone to feel pity for her or let her disease define who she is. So she pushes Jamie away. Now, will Jamie let her go and will he fight for her?? You'll have to watch to film to find out. :)
I know this song is way, way, way, way overused, but it's soooo perfect for this film that I couldn't resist using it. I hope you like it and if you haven't seen "Love and Other Drugs," go and watch it because it is amazing. Jake and Anne are excellent in their roles and they have great chemistry.
