James P. Allison is a world-renowned pioneer of cancer immunotherapy and the 2018 Nobel Prize winner in physiology or medicine. Allison graduated from @UTAustin in 1969 with a B.A. in microbiology, and again in 1973 with a Ph.D. in biological sciences.
