Texas is home to one of the nation’s most ambitious efforts to fight cancer, and leading breakthroughs in cancer research are the result. Hear from two amazing scientists whose work, funded in part by the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas, will save countless lives. Nobel Laureate and UT alum Jim Allison led the immunotherapy revolution, while MacArthur Fellow and faculty member Livia Eberlin invented the MasSpec Pen, a game changer for the detection and removal of cancer during surgery.
