Kamyab Javanmardi, a graduate student in the cell and molecular biology program at @The University of Texas at Austin, discusses his work with SARS-CoV-2 and other viruses. He reveals how a UT-developed platform called Spike Display allows him to quickly screen for and study mutations in these viruses and determine what those changes mean for existing vaccines and treatments.
