Gina-B Silkworks | Ivy Covered Log Studio Button - walkthrough - mixed media textile button - handmade button @GinaBSilkworks | Uploaded April 2022 | Updated October 2024, 8 hours ago.
This video is a little different from my usual, in that I filmed my process of making a button that was only a concept (I usually know what I will be doing before I turn on the camera!). I take you through the making of the log using string, tissue and matt medium, right through to making the tiny leaves, vines and tendrils. This is actually my button for the One Button a Week 2022 prompt "Nature" - week 16. Also, I forgot to say that I added a few "water drops" at the very end on the leaves using Glossy Accents.
