Hi everyone, Dark Souls 1 Remaster's release date is getting closer with each day, so I thought it would be a good time to start uploading on a somewhat regular basis again. My graphics card just recently got fixed after half a year of sending it to repair services, so I might take some time to get a hang of this game again, hopefully it won't take too long.
Anyway, this is the first thing I wanted to do after getting the card back, try my luck with the bosses without sprinting, either on sl1 ng+7 or regular ng if some bosses prove too hard or too annoying for me to deal with in a reasonable time frame. My main goal on this run is to beat the bosses up until Pontiff this way and we'll see how it goes from there.
Most bosses from this run were already done by a few players, like G-S0ul, nothing right, Xerieh and Aura, so if you're interested in seeing more of this right now I recommend checking them out, they're really great players with a lot better upload schedules than me.
Not much to say about ol' Gundy here, his fight isn't particularly interesting and he goes down very quickly against this weapon set, his Untended Graves version will surely pose a lot more challenge if I manage to get that far.

Similarly to Resident Evil 2 demo, this one can be blitzed in around 2-3 minutes pretty easily, its just a matter of ignoring everything besides the fire hose and running straight to the hydrant after getting it. Nemesis can be very easily avoided if you throw a grenade at him or shoot the generator near him. Itll also knock him down completely for a pretty decent amount of time if you combine the damage dealt by both of those methods by throwing the grenade close to the generator.
There are a few things that could be done better here, Im having a bit of a hard time getting used to a PS4 controller (mainly aiming), but all in all it could be worse. The demo is recorded on a PS4 and available in PS Store for free. In a few hours it should also be available globally on Steam :)")

Seems like I screwed up at a few points during this fight. Some of my initial attacks with greatsword after he staggers didnt register as hits to the head, which resulted in attempts to stagger him immediatelly afterwards being way lengthier. With a correctly executed hit to the head with greatsword before going for critical you can make him go down again after only one greatsword hit when he stands up, which I only managed to pull off half the time in this fight. Theres also a few dumb looking whifs near the end of the fight, which made it drag out for an unnecessarilly long time. So Ive been trying to beat this boss as a (not very effective) way to relieve stress in between my attempts at no sprinting Nameless King.
The part with the Gravetender can be won pretty much by just running away from him in a straight line and hitting him right after he attacks, his lunges can also be countered by quickly positioning yourself behind him and backstabbing. The main things most important for the success of the next part of the fight are luring him to the back of the arena (so you have time to get ready after the Greatwolf appears) and killing him as fast as possible after taking more than half of his health, so he doesnt gang up on you with his pupper.
The second half is a bit less predictable, the doggo can move around a lot and take you out before you manage to change your position to a safer one (at 1:40 I got really lucky that his charge attack didnt kill me on the spot, a step in a wrong direction and it wouldve ended there). The safest strategy is to stay behind pillars and hit him (preferbly with charged heavy attack if youve positioned yourself just far enough to be sure that you wont get hit) when he does the double bite attack, then go crazy on him once half his healthbar is gone and he starts transitioning into his second stage. You want to get rid of him before he finishes his ice breath, because hell most likely follow it with a charge.")
