Today marks 25 years. What is the secret is to a happy marriage?
The truth is there is no such thing as a happy marriage. Life is full of moments. Happy and sad. Marriage is WORK and it takes both to make it work. It's give and take from BOTH sides.
It takes tolerance and an open mind. Understanding each others dislikes and peeves and NOT pushing those buttons to the point that you trigger a world war. Push em sometimes. Cause it keeps it spicy.
Without disagreements, marriage would be boring. If every day was ice cream, sparkles, and glitter, then someone's lying to themselves to spare the other and eventually that person will implode.
Be honest. Be open. Be accepting. Everyone has faults and you have to be willing to live with them till death do you part.
No sugar coating. Cause once the sugar dissolves you're left with the bitter pill to swallow. ❤️
