Trinidad & Tobago reportedly has the highest KFC consumption per capita on the planet, and locals swear the recipe here hits different — spicier, crispier, and always fresh. So today I’m finding out if the hype is real. I’ve found some conflicting information, at first there is a reported Guinness Book of World Records in 2000 for MOST CHICKEN SOLD although a bit difficult to find more details. Prestige Holdings (the company that operates KFC in Trinidad & Tobago) has publicly reported annual KFC revenue figures in the tens of millions $TT — and historically, the Trinidad KFC market in 2024 has done over $60 million TT per year in sales (not 66 million for one store ;). My research through ChatGPT has now given me many different answers at different times, so beware the "knowledge" of AI! 🤖
