Wondering if the Celebrity drink package is worth it? In this video, I break down the real cost of the Celebrity Classic Drink Package on our 17-day Panama Canal cruise and share whether we saved money — or lost money.
We had Celebrity’s All Included package, which included the Classic Drink Package and Basic Wi-Fi, but figuring out the true value was not as simple as it sounded. I tracked what we actually drank on our Celebrity Summit Panama Canal cruise, including soda, specialty coffee, bottled water considerations, frozen drinks, wine, cocktails, and more.
One of us used the drink package enough to come out ahead. The other one definitely did not. As a couple, the final numbers surprised me.
In this video, I explain how much we estimate we paid for the drink package, how much our drinks would have cost if we paid as we went, and why the answer depends on more than just alcohol. Sea days, full-day excursions, bottled water, soda, specialty coffee, and whether both people in the cabin drink the same amount can all change the math.
