❓ Is it safe to allow a tech support company to control your computer from far away? It depends on who they are, how you found them, and whether they called you first. I'll share the one rule you must never violate.

Letting someone control your computer remotely can be risky. It all comes down to trust. Only allow remote access if you picked the company yourself — never if they called you. Back up your computer first, just in case. When in doubt, trust your gut and say no.
