In this video I turn the tables and film my producer, Rainer, sharing his complete backpacking kit - a kit that has barely changed in over 5 years on trail! This is one of the most well researched, durable, and brilliant backpacking kits I have ever seen, and it has proven its worth by withstanding the test of time. Rainer and I spend 40-50 days (or more!) on trail together every year, and the fact that almost all of Rainer's gear has lasted 5+ years seeing that level of heavy use is testament to how valuable it is to buy right and buy once.
