I've been designing a filament spool for my employer to run in our Print farm for years to come and this spool was to fix an issue we had with cardboard spools. We currently are sitting on a stock pile of filament - skids of filament using the cheapest possible cardboard spool which we actually requested the manufacturer put it on since the spool ends up in the recycling bin anyway! Well, as it turns out, that was a mistake because months later we decided we wanted to start using the AMS on our bambu printers. As the market shifted and my employer tried to adapt by printing new products, we found ourselves in a predicament but we can use 3-D printing and engineering to print our way out of trouble! But to my surprise, many comments on previous videos about this project would suggest this is a terrible idea! I'm going to do it anyway!
