New Orleans - Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin who would still be the Alaska governor if she had not quit in the middle of her first term stole the show at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans on Friday. Irony was plentiful in New Orleans, much more than Palin quitting one elected position to lead her party efforts to win other elected positions. This city is still rebuilding after devastation from Hurricane Katrina and speaker after Republican speaker would not even mention Katrina. Also, on the heels of a fresh Republican National Committee sex scandal, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal gave some choice advice to Republican National Committee staffers during his appearance, recommending that they "may want to stay away from Bourbon Street Just a word of advice," Jindal said.
