USS Boxer (LHD 4), the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship leading the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group. On 6 August, U.S. Central Command confirmed 49 commercial vessels redirected, 2 disabled and 2 boarded. The same week, an Iranian parliamentary committee began reviewing a preliminary bill that would bar U.S. and Israeli vessels from the Strait of Hormuz, impose transit fees of up to 7 percent of cargo value and fines of up to 20 percent, while Iran and Oman claim a shipping
