I love using my Blackmagic ATEM Mini switcher to switch between my iPhone 6S Plus used as a video camera, my Panasonic GX85, my 12.9 iPad Pro, and any fourth device such as my iPhone XS. Initially, however, I wanted to attach an external mic to my iPhone 6S Plus and use the audio from that device as the main audio for my recording with OBS Studio or when doing a ZOOM meeting. But the audio didn't pass over the HDMI connection to the ATEM Mini from FilmicPro on my iPhone 6S Plus. Frustrating! I have since discovered two IOS devices that not only send "Clean HDMI" (i.e., no on-screen controls displayed), an absolute must requirement, but also audio! In this video I tell you what those apps are.
