Mario's Journal:
Day 21
It was HOT inside the volcano! It was also packed with putrid piranhas. There were lava bubbles and spike tops as well but it's normal to find them in places like this. It was odd to find putrid piranhas here though. They spoke in a robotic fashion as well.
Kolorado tried to press forward but accidentally ran into a few traps. Good thing he always gets back on his feet. Bombette had to be really careful. She didn't want to accidentally explode and set off the volcano.
Eventually, we ran into what those putrid piranhas called "boss." It was a giant lava piranha plant! I've heard of them, but had never seen any before. It used all kinds of fire attacks. I don't think we would have survived without Sushie. Her ability to summon water helped immensely! The plant did trick us at one point. We thought we beat it and started to move to the next room, but then a fireball launched from behind and nearly hit Bombette (Parakarry managed to get her out of the way just in time).
We finished off the lava piranha after another tidal wave from Sushie. This time we made sure it was dead. Its body slunk back into the lava and the Star Spirit appeared. Her name is Misstar. We were about to leave the volcano, but it started to shake. I guess killing the lava piranha set it off!
Lava was rising at a rapid pace. Kolorado was more interested in a treasure he found in one of the rooms. Misstar wasted no time getting us all out of the volcano just in time!
