A Spider-Verse edit to 'Connection' by OneRepublic. Ahhh, I'm so happy to edit with this movie at last because I absolutely love it, hands down one of my favourite films ever now! I got so hyped when I saw the first trailer because it looked awesome and I love Miles, and boy did it not disappoint! This movie was fantastic! It was so well written, it looks amazing and it was hilarious. I could go on. If you haven't seen this movie, go watch it! I tried to get as many of the relationships as possible in there, but there were a lot of different dynamics that were so good and didn't expect, like Miles and Peter B., but also Peni, Spider-man Noir and Spider-ham were great in the background. When I have the time I'm going to edit with this movie more because I didn't get to use, like, any of the really cool swinging/acrobatic scenes. Whenever I get out of essay hell... XD

Happy New Year! Look at me, uploading in January of the new year, definitely dont get used to this. This is my part for @RetrotikaYT WORM. The theme was artists youve found through editing. There are honestly so many artists I could have picked for this theme, but I decided to go for All Time Low as theyve become one of my favourite bands over the past few years, being my no. 1 most listened to artist in both 2022 and 2023.
The first edit I can remember coming across with All Time Low is this banger of an MEP by @YoungEmpiresStudios in probably around 2015-2016 ish when I first came across YES.

I really fell in love with them when I joined @PokeLSoumas birthday MEPs a couple years ago, and I have only fallen further down the rabbit hole of loving this band since. This is one of my absolute favourite songs of theirs, its just so much fun. The ship selection was insanely random. I just wanted to edit Miles/Gwen and Satosugu, and then I was going to use the verse to edit Alex/Henry and Aziraphel/Crowley, but I took a break working on this to make progress on Secret Santa edits, and I just... forgot my plans when I went back to it until after Id laid the Tangled clips. I couldnt figure out who to put in the other part of the verse until it was the deadline, and I had to do something so Sokka/Suki.

This is my part for @futureheartsstudios WORM, which Im uploading on its own because it might only be 30 seconds long, but I spent five months working on this, and Im genuinely super proud of how it turned out. Lena invited me to join this project to celebrate All Time Lows 20th anniversary where we created a worm covering their whole discography. I got this idea to edit Jinx/Ekko to Time Bomb when working on Chars secret Santa gift because thats when I learnt their ship name and thought it would just be funny (also the song really fits them), so I was super excited to get a chance to make it reality even though casino style nearly finished me.

Im still emotionally recovering from this episode. I got spoiled for what was going to happen a few weeks in advance (largely because I was making this video, and I was Googling for Sasha scenes), and I spent them trying to convince myself that it wasnt true because I love Sasha so much. I didnt even know I was super attached to her and this trio in general until season 3 came out, and I suddenly realised that there were no dispensable characters anymore. I had a horrible feeling that something might happen to her or Connie (please no manga spoilers!) because they seemed like the least plot relevant characters left, but still, I was not ready for this. In a way, Im kind of glad for the spoiler so it didnt hit me out of nowhere. Im glad I started this video before the fourth season aired, and I started re-watching the series and loved every second of these three.
Anyway, I have absolutely loved this season so much! Its been amazing, and I love that they put me in a situation where one of my favourite characters is killed, but I cant even be mad at the person that killed her because Gabi is just Eren from season 1. You know exactly where shes coming from, and I love that the narrative puts you in this bind. Im so excited for where this is going. Both the season 4 things that got spoiled for me so far (Sasha and Zeke) happened in episode 8, so Im going in for the rest of this blind, and Im so excited!
Also, apologise for the audio editing. I did it myself, and it comes out slightly different when I play it on a media player in my laptop to when I upload it to Youtube, so this is actually the third or so version Ive uploaded, and Ive decided to settle for this quality. I really want to make another Sasha edit, but Ive got a Red Crackle edit thats almost done that I put aside to finish this, so I wanna get that done first, but then maybe more Sasha provided season 4 doesnt throw something new at me to distract my attention.

Wow, I cant believe that Januarys basically over already... Im really happy with how this collection turned out. I think Ive really made some improvements with my editing, particularly still image where Ive been trying to work on camera movement. I had to use Jonas because this song fits him (and Dark generally) really well, like that question basically sums up my mental reaction to watching this show and trying to juggle three timelines. Small Yamaguchi and Shimada edit to Stand By You by Rachel Platten because their friendship is high-key underrated, and I am still emotional about this episode. Yamaguchi is my absolute favourite character in Haikyuu. His struggle against his anxiety just hits me on a personal level, and his character arc is well written, and the fact that Shimada is there not just teaching him volleyball but techniques on how to control his anxiety even though he has no obligation to?? Amazing.
I apologise for the editing being a little janky in places. I didnt touch Vegas for over a month due to laptop issues that ended in me having to get a new one, so I had to shake off some editing rust initially. Im fully back in the swing of things now, though, and Ive been blasting through MEP parts because I was very behind. Hopefully Ill edit some more Haikyuu as Ive been loving this half of the season and all the love that its been giving to the side characters.

This was our revival MEP, and it looks fantastic! Im glad enough time has passed that I can listen to this song and not be reminded of hellish rendering. XD Also their brief, brief interactions in season 3 reminded that I ship these two so freaking much, and I need to see more of them in the second half of the season!
