In July 2024, we found a deal on this Intex ultra XTR 18 x 52 above ground pool. The price had been marked down from around $1200 to under $700. We seized the opportunity and my wife went to the store and made the purchase. My intentions were to keep the pool in storage and then set up the pool during spring break this year, in 2025. With the pool in storage, my whole family decided it was best if I go ahead and set up the pool so we could get some use out of it before fall.  knowing the amount of work that I was going to have to put into this project such as cutting a lot of limbs off of a nearby tree and leveling the ground before even starting on the pool, I wasn’t very enthused about this idea. As you can see from the video that I did start the project and it actually wasn’t too difficult to do the ground prep work. Setting up the pool was also a pretty simple task, and it went up much easier than I anticipated. I recommend making sure the ground prep work is satisfactory before Ever starting on the pool and once you have the pool up, don’t rush the process of removing the wrinkles in the bottom of the pool.
