While in search of a good quality back up camera for our travel trailer, I contacted TadiBrothers and told them what type of travel trailer that I had. I expressed that I was looking for a camera for the back of my travel trailer so I could see what was behind me while traveling down the road. TadiBrothers was more than helpful over the phone, they recommended the back up camera that they thought would fit my needs and it did. This was a fairly quick and easy install and once the monitor and the camera both had power, they paired up immediately. As of the date that this video was uploaded to YouTube, I have used the backup camera on three round trip excursions that totaled about 900 miles. The camera and monitor has worked great every time. I measured the distance from the camera at the back of our travel trailer to the monitor which is on the rearview mirror of my Ford F250 Super Duty pick up and it is approximately 48 feet. One thing to remember when wiring up the camera, you will need a way to turn it on and off. I accomplished this by wiring it to the constant power in the tail lights on the travel trailer. The tail lights only provide constant power when I turn on the park lights or head lights on my pickup truck. In the video you see me using a 12 V power source in the dash of my pick up truck for the monitor. I have since run the wire from the monitor through the head headliner to under the dash to the back of a 12 V cigarette lighter plug. By doing this, the wires are hidden and it is hardwired permanently which frees up the 12 V plugs on the front of the dash to use for other things such as car charger.
