By running ZVS tesla coil in interrupted mode, it is possible to get interesting spark effects and fantastic looking plasma. This is done by using a mosfet as a switch to interrupt the DC input to the ZVS tesla coil. The square wave signal to the mosfet comes from a signal generator.
