A lot of filmmakers want internal ND built into their camera but the NISI JETMAG VND magnetic filter can be the answer due to it's versatility and is the best Variable ND filter available on the market. The overall ease of use to quickly put on and remove the filter in fast paced filming situations, locking design and the ability to stack different filters is unmatched.
Freewell magnetic vnd is too weak and Polar Pro Peter Mckinnon filters are overpriced and does not offer nearly as many filters to attach. With new cameras like the Lumix s1II without internal ND is rivaling cameras with internal ND, a filter like the NISI Jetmag VND can allow the Sony FX3, Sony FX2 and Lumix s1ii to mainting IBIS allowing for smoother handheld operation.
