OPEN GATE IS OVERRATED ?!?!?
Guys.. GUYS... Before you coffee stain LUT preset your superman drawers π©, this is just MY OPINION. I am not trashing your precious "King" camera Lumix S1II s1rii GH or s5iiX... Whatever camera your worship and sleep with every night. Calm down. . .but yes, Open Gate for Social Media "cropping" is overrated. Just offering my objectively factual take on this whole... lumix open gate shilling extravaganza
And yes I'm a @sonyalpha fanboy douchebag trash and if any of my ποΈ Sony cameras had open gate, I'd love it, but I'm not gonna go out of my way to use open gate for social media cropping. The entire talking head portion of this video was filmed 16:9 cropped like a 3:2 and I doubt anyone really noticed the top and bottom were missing unless you looked for it.
It's all love at the end of the day. Now go film something in slow motion with zoom woosh transition and call it cinematic.
