I'm not usually one to keep or display art, but this piece really resonated with me, especially my West Coast aspirations. In the equivalent of an afternoon, I ran through a couple design iterations for displaying this woodburned piece, and came up with a simple and efficient stand that both looks nice, and doesn't detract from the centerpiece.

Ive long wanted to try machining carbon fiber, so I put together a quick little project to test some basic toolpaths. Its a little proof of concept utility blade holder that Im actually quite fond of now. Ill probably end up using it for a few weeks to see where I can improve the design. So far Ive only stabbed myself with it once.
