Did you know that the cavalry units of the Roman Legion were formed by the wealthiest citizens of the republic? They also had the benefit of just having to serve in the army for 10 years, instead of the regular 20 years.
Their main goal was to protect the vulnerable points of the formation and stand alongside the infantry lines in order to defend.
You will be able to find them in and the rest of the Legion in our next indie game coming in 2024: Citadelum!
It will be a citybuilding/strategy game based in ancient Rome in times of the republic, way before it was an empire.
You will be able to build your own settlement, trade resources, explore the map, fight with the amazing Legion, expand your domains and try to rise to the Roman Pantheon and gain the favor of the gods.
Build temples, bring gifts and listen to them! Keep your eyes open, they are known for being pretty jealous...
