This replaces His example with a one-size-fits-all spiritual solution and it leaves people without the support they actually need.

If someone has a physiological or psychological issue that isn’t demonic in nature, and you convince them they’re under spiritual attack, you’re introducing fear, confusion, and shame. That person may start to believe that their faith is lacking when it isn't, which can lead to spiritual despair, anxiety, and even questioning their salvation.

Instead of healing, this approach adds harm. It removes hope, distorts their understanding of God's care, and replaces the joy of salvation with fear and striving. And it keeps the individual from getting real support. That’s the opposite of what Christian care should do.
