Windows 10 is still 75% of the Windows market so systemd and Linux Graphics support only on Windows 11 was a huge insult. Thankfully Microsoft just backported all that lovely work to Windows 10 and here it is. It's not so easy or straight forward for the average user, so I updated my script which you can easily use to try things out. This video will get you up and running with these technologies quick and easy. systemd is to do Linux services and Linux Graphics lets you run software on Windows that is for Linux-only (like reverse Wine).
If you're using Jupyter Notebooks and want to run it locally, a genuine Linux install of JupyterLab is better than an Anaconda install (licensing issues) or a JupyterLab-Desktop install. Having a Linux Jupyter has got to be one of the best ways to bring Linux into your life, getting the best of both worlds. Keep using your browser or an Edge App to access Jupyter, but because it's Linux you have access to all the best Machine Learning and AI libraries and packages which always come late to Windows and are nearly impossible to install.
If you were using VcXsrv or Ming, you don't need them anymore. WSL2 comes equipped with its own built-in X-Windows X-Server. However, making it work under Linux containers was a problem, so I decided to dump LXD Containers for this round. I'll get back to them, but for the sake of being productive quickly I've modified my scripts to work without the extra container layer.
