(KUTV) Sitting alone in a school cafeteria day after day can be devastating for a student. So one local high school is trying to change all of that.
Judge Memorial High School recently had its students download the free "Sit With Us" app, which gives kids opportunities to find other students to sit with at lunch.
"The app kind of flags a table and says, 'This is a safe table if you are looking for a place to sit, and come join me,'" said Patrick Lambert, principal of Judge Memorial High School.
Once the app is downloaded, a student fills in their profile, and then they can find other students to sit with.
