I spent two decades in FCC compliance consulting, inspecting stations, building and reconstructing public files, and visiting thousands of radio stations—from major-market facilities in Los Angeles and San Francisco to the smallest operations run from transmitter sites. Through that work, I’ve seen it all and understand how radio works from the inside out at every scale. I was on track for executive leadership, but a cardiac issue stopped me, leading to a two-year journey to regain my health that changed not only my body but also how I measure success.
