Rawai in Phuket is my opinion the best place to live in Phuket, Thailand. Why is Rawai my favourite living area in Phuket? Because of its relaxed atmosphere, chill vibe, friendly people – both locals and expats, peaceful and empty beaches and boat life of course. It’s also a digital nomad hub, the place where it’s really easy to connect with people who work remotely online, while living in the paradise full of opportunities, healthy food restaurants, gyms and muay thai classes, and an incredible seafood market. I’ve never seen anything like it. With so many different types of seafood from prawns, lobsters and squids to more weird looking horseshoe crabs and mantis shrimp, this place was crazy to me. The most shocking was the fact they are all alive before you choose I’d recommend anyone who is thinking of living in Phuket, to check out Rawai. It’s truly a much needed change from the crazy business, loud noise and traffic of Patong. I also take you on the tour around Patong town so you can compare Rawai to Patong.
