Artist, writer, and curator Darryl DeAngelo Terrell invites photographers to “come learn, come grow, come explore” in their upcoming ICP Crit Lab.
ICP’s version of a master class, the Crit Lab is designed to take your photography to the next level. Open to all genres and working methods, this course offers a supportive environment for photographers ready to refine their portfolios, clarify their artistic voice, and elevate their practice.
Originally from Detroit, Terrell’s multidisciplinary practice spans photography, writing, curating, and DJing. Their work is grounded in investigations of Blackness, femme identity, queerness, and the politics of belonging.
An alumnus of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Terrell has also worked as Program Coordinator at Library Street Collective and as a Special Lecturer of Photography at Oakland University.
