In this video, I will go through the basics of the shape builder function in Inkscape v1.3.
The shape builder is one of the great additions in v1.3 of Inkscape. Once you get your head around it, it is extremely helpful and pretty straightforward. In this video I will be working with six different simple designs to show you the basics of the tools, the do's, and [some of] the don't.

This tutorial from 2Dgameartguru.com continues the redesign of the caveman game character from the two earlier videos.
The video shows how to arrange and export the parts in Inkscape and take them into the animation tool. In Spine, I set the key pose, add the bones and create a simple idle and walk animation.

The same can be done in similar software to Spine. Spriter or Dragon Bones come to mind [skeletal-based animation and editors are also implemented in some game engines].
