There are a lot of text effects available for Photoshop [and Illustrator] but most of them have compatibility issues due to different or missing functions in Affinity Designer.
In this video, I show you how to create complex editable text effects in Affinity Designer using multiple FX in stacked groups with symbols at the base.

This tutorial from 2Dgameartguru.com continues the redesign of the caveman game character from the two earlier videos.
The video shows how to arrange and export the parts in Inkscape and take them into the animation tool. In Spine, I set the key pose, add the bones and create a simple idle and walk animation.

The same can be done in similar software to Spine. Spriter or Dragon Bones come to mind [skeletal-based animation and editors are also implemented in some game engines].
