UPDATE: In my video, Lune has 3108 speed. Esquim scales with Agility, Defense and Might, but I used Might, Luck and Agility. I see my mistake where I didn’t mention this specifically about Lune. Special shoutout to Eshan Sardar for pointing that out.

So, you want to make an amazing build for yourself but don’t have the right amount of Lumina. And on top of that, you missed Exposing Attack. If this is you, then no worries at all. Because in this video. I’m going to show you how to farm unlimited Color of Lumina super easily and quickly along with Perfect Chroma Catalysts to max your weapons to level 33. This method requires minimum Lumina needed to defeat the Duollistes on your first playthrough.
By defeating Simon, you should be able to get the necessary materials that you need, including some Perfect Chroma Catalysts which are needed to max your weapons to Level 33.

Also, make sure to complete the other side quests to get more Color of Lumina, specifically the Friendly Nevron Quest and collecting as many Journals as you can to hand over to the Gestral in the Ancient Sanctuary.
The super bosses at the Endless Tower can be fought as many times as you like. And every time you defeat them, you will get the same rewards. I farmed the heck out of the Duollistes.
*BATTLE STRATEGY:*
When the battle starts, Sciel will die and then automatically revive. This will give 2 additional shields to Lune and Verso due to her having Shielding Death equipped. With Lune do Elemental Trick followed by a base attack on her second turn. With Verso, use Steeled Strike. He should be at S Rank due to Blodam's Weapon Perk. This will take away both his turns and bring the enemies’ HP down by 60% or so.
Turn goes to Sciel, so have her cast Fortune’s Fury on Lune for her first turn followed by Intervention on Verso during her second turn. Verso goes next. So have him use Steeled Strike one more time to finish off phase 1.
When Phase 2 begins, and you did everything as shown, Lune will be up next. Simply use Lightning Dance to end the battle. Doing so will result in 20 color of lumina, 5 Grandiose and 1 Perfect Chroma Catalyst.
Start the battle again and just rinse and repeat the same process. You can complete the battle easily under a minute. Within 10 minutes or so, you will have 200 color of luminas, 50 Grandiose and 10 Perfect Chorma Catalysts plus tons of experience and money. My best was 56 seconds. Repeat until you have the necessary amount of items that you’re looking for.

This video focuses on defeating Simon, the Divergent Star in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on New Game/First Playthrough. The goal of this video is to survive Divergent Simons initial attacks by not parrying or dodging. Only the final attack/hot needs to be dodged, otherwise it results in the party being wiped off the Canvas.
This is done by having sufficient HP and DEFENCE for the Phase 1 Party, which in the video is Maelle and Monoco. Below is the build you need to get this done.
*WEAPONS AND PICTOS:*
*Maelle:* Esqium - Augmented Counter 31, First Life 33 and Solo Fighter 31
*Monoco:* Baguettaro - Charging Critical 31, Longer Shell 29 and Cleas Life 30
*Lune:* Esquim - Cheater 24, Energy Master 30 and Feint 29
*Verso:* Corpeso - None
*Sciel:* Any Weapon - None
*LUMINA:*

⚔️*BATTLE STRATEGY:*
Simon attacks. Make sure its a single sword attack and not two. If you see a Green Sword that means he will attack twice. Abandon and restart the battle. Once you see him use just the white sword, just stand your ground as a TANK. Be careful of the final hit, as this is the one you need to dodge. If you don’t, you’ll get Gommaged out of the canvas. This is the only time you need to dodge Simon. Once you’re done with this one dodge, Divergent Simon is done!
*Monoco Turn 1 and 2:* Shoot until no AP is left. Follow it up with the base attack. Because of Combo 3, Monoco will hit the enemy 4 times. Repeat the same for his second turn. We need to make sure that we are over 100 burns on Simon DS or as close to 100, and that the Gradient Bar is almost full.
*Maelle Turn 1:* Shoot once to max the Gradient Bar. Use Last Chance to switch to Virtuose Stance.
*Maelle Turn 2:* She will absorb the Gradient Bar. Do Burning Canvas to finish Phase 1.
Simon will Gommage Maelle and Monoco, so send in your reserve team. Now, it doesn’t matter if Lune goes first or if it’s Verso – both will go before Sciel and need to do their own actions.
*Verso Turn 1:* Do a base attack to apply Burn on Divergent Simon.
*Lune Turn 1:* Use Elemental Trick. All hits will register as critical creating 4 stains if you used the same Attributes, Pictos and Lumina.
*Lune Turn 2:* Do a base attack to turn all her stains into Dark Stains.
*Sciel Turn 1:* Use Fortune’s Fury on Lune.
*Sciel Turn 2:* Use Intervention, so Lune goes right after her turn.
*Lune Turn 3:* Have her use Lightning Dance to finish the battle.
Simon, the Divergent Star is defeated. No parries. No dodges. No Exposing Attack.

*UPDATE (August 7, 2025): No NPC quests will be affected as long as you don’t run into bosses. You can meet the white robed elder along this way if you want to complete his quest line. I just checked this by going to the Zhenwu Antechamber and returned to Clouspire and all the NPCs are there and their quests can be completed*
Allow me to share the most incredible farming spot in Wuchang Fallen Feathers where you can farm over 300,000 red mercury in an hour. Plus, the enemies at this location drop red mercury items which can be consumed to further increase your level!
This area can be accessed right after you defeat Commander Honglan, at the very start of chapter 2. Instead of going into Cloudspire, we will make our way to Mount Zhenwu. And the best thing about this is that there are no bosses that need to be defeated to reach this area.
