Hello and welcome back to the channel and…..I couldn’t resist. With watching so many videos of people eagerly preparing armies for Infamy Infamy by Two Fat Lardies, I decided that I needed to have a go of this myself! I have a cunning plan though as these will also double up as a barbarian army for Warlords of Erehwon so essentially armies for two rulesets with only half the work. I’m pretty sure my maths is wrong there….but it sounds better that way.
So what have I opted for? I was really tempted to get a Roman army as I have never painted Romans before but I’ve always been fascinated by their history and military campaigns. But I decided to go for a force of British tribe warriors as my ancestry and heritage is largely Celt, I thought this would be a good way to go.
I’ve picked up a box of Ancient British Warriors by Warlord Games and these will make up the core units for both my Infamy and Erehwon armies. I’ve never painted ancients before so I thought I would start with just five to see how they painted up and, in the video, I’ll also show you my scratch built movement try made from nothing but things I could find on my hobby shelves.
