On our way to Tamkesi, a traditional village, the road becomes smaller and smaller until it becomes a motorcycle path only. After we struggle back to the main road police escorts us to a better road, alarms switched on. The next time, to Boti, we use a guide on a motorcycle in front of us. The main roads on West Timor are narrow, curvy and busy, but OK. In the pouring rain we leave West Timor on our way to the next island: Flores.
