Indian plant-based street food! We got invited by Indian Burgers Joint to try out some of their vegan options at their White Rock location. They have 4 tables for dining inside, making it a cozy spot for a casual bite. The menu includes vegan options, and the team mentioned they’ll soon be updating it to clearly mark what’s vegan-friendly—so keep an eye on that!
Check their website for pictures of the dishes and detailed menu info. For our visit, we tasted the Mumbai Masala Sandwich (spicy and satisfying), the Naan Tastic Rajhma (hearty kidney beans with naan), and their warm, comforting Cardamom Chai with almond milk.
The staff are knowledgeable about vegan dietary needs and were super friendly throughout our visit. If you’re in White Rock, this is a great plant-based spot to check out—especially since it’s just steps away from the beach and the pier! They also have other locations throughout Greater Vancouver, so go check them out for great vegan options.
