Indian food with fake meat options is something very unusual! We were super excited to visit Monsoon Indian Curry in Vancouver, BC, for a complimentary vegan-friendly dinner! While Monsoon isn’t a vegan or vegetarian restaurant, they do a great job of clearly labeling their vegan options, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to plant-based choices.
We went for dinner and tried three of their vegan entrées:🌱 Began Masala🌱 Beyond Meat Chicken Vindaloo🌱 Mushroom Palak
Each dish comes with your choice of rice or naan (vegan naan is available!). We also noticed they offer vegan appetizers, making it easier for plant-based diners to enjoy a full meal.
The service was friendly, and we couldn’t help but notice the steady flow of takeout and delivery orders – this spot seems to be a local favorite!
