TEASER PART 2 - Summerside PEI has set an example for cities in Canada by leading the way in renewable energy. In Part 1, they generated 46% of their electricity through a smart grid, wind power and energy-storing furnaces.
In Part 2, they added solar, batteries and microgrids, and reached an impressive 62% renewable energy over the year.
