Dancers dancing in the dark to the music of LUCHS

While filming my behind the scenes videos I sometimes come up with some quite amazing footage. In this case contemporary dancers Emilie Girard and Mikaël Xystra Montminy. Although not technically a perfect dance, I thought that some of the dances between shadow and light, focus and defocus made a great statement about the dance between a man and a woman.

Creation is about trying stuff out plain and simple. It really is about putting yourself out there to see what you might find. In this case I was not quite sure but I sure do like it!

To film this I used the Canon EOS 80D and a couple of LED panels in a completewly dark studio
