Ohm's Law and Joule's Law are linked. Ohm's Law says that voltage across a device is proportional to current through it and the constant of proportionality is resistance. In equation form, this is V = IR. Joule's Law says that the power dissipated by a resistive device is equal to the voltage across it times the current through it. In equation form, this is P = VI. These two equations relate voltage, current, resistance and power in resistive devices and circuits and 12 different equations can be derived relating those quantities to each other. This video starts with the two basic equations, one for Ohm's Law and one for Joule's Law and then shows how to derive all of the other ones.
