Imperfect Whole Food, Plant-Based Diets—Are They Even Worth It?  @nutritionstudies

At this time of year, when many people are trying new things for the first time, it is important to remember that progress is not always linear. When implementing lifestyle changes, occasional challenges are inevitable. Instead of using those difficult moments to justify giving up on lifestyle change altogether, as some people do, we can accept them for what they are, learn from them, and grow stronger as a result. This approach is more forgiving and likely better for our mental health. It is also well supported by evidence: research shows that even "incomplete" lifestyle change is better than nothing.
