Taking Charge: Health First, Government Second. I called to schedule my mammogram earlier than I normally do. The woman at the reception desk today, when I arrived, reminded me, “You’re not due yet.”

My response? I don’t care.

I don’t know what this Administration is doing and I’m not taking ANY chances with my health. I’m getting everything checked out NOW before we wake up one day and realize we don’t have healthcare.

Last week I went ahead and got my COVID vaccine. I already scheduled my annual check-up earlier than I’m “supposed to.” Why? Because I simply do not trust our government right now when it comes to protecting my health.

Your body, your health, your LIFE is not something to gamble with. Take it seriously. Get your screenings, your shots, your blood work, your preventative care done now. Don’t wait until it’s “time.”

If they won’t protect us, we have to protect ourselves.
