Yet another recently rated, pending placement extreme. I really don't enjoy being the guy ripping somebody's work to shreds, but it's for the best that I remain honest about what I thought about this one, so here we go.
Unfortunately, I found this to be the one of the worst extremes I've beaten, and certainly the worst one I've played since beating Zodiac almost 2 years ago. The most frustrating part of it all is that it should've easily not turned out this way. The base gameplay really is not that bad. It could've worked just fine if the level had been given competent playtesting. As it stands right now, however, this level has the worst hitboxes I've ever seen. There's some extent of this in everything, but by FAR the worst of it is in the sawblades, and they're everywhere. I put one such example in the thumbnail, but the majority of parts suffer from sawblades that either have larger hitboxes than you can make out to be, or even worse and more commonly, an offset hitbox that sticks way out the side of them, and create some of the most preposterous chokepoints possible. It's really depressing, how innocent this level seemed to be at first and how easy it looked to beat as well, until I learned the level and realized I couldn't stop dying to these invisible misaligned sawblades scattered everywhere. A few instances in particular, being the red orb at 20%, and the two ships in the first drop (24%, 26-27%), create far and away the hardest parts of the level, which was super infuriating. They also exist awkwardly in parts that you would think wouldn't have them, such as the cobweb at 18%. This problem doesn't end at the sawblades, either. There are multiple instances of wave gaps in the level being tighter than they look, with a couple of spots even having a block that sticks out from the rest of the structure for some reason. There are also spikes that have larger invisible spikes sitting on top of them. It's startling to me that this much stuff was missed. In addition, there are a number of terrible transitions that show up, particularly later in the level. Having to release immediately going from a wave into a ship part is disgusting, and 58% and 72% are both instances of this. The cube transition at 83% also can break occasionally depending on how you enter it. Despite the level also getting much easier after the 20s, there are still some nasty chokepoints to be seen such as the double click orb at 66%, and the ship at 89%. I was pretty upset over dying at 78%, but I beat it almost immediately after that happened as well as only having 3 deaths past said 20s, so I'm relieved I didn't need to play this longer than necessary. I would hope that someday, this level may open up to some sort of quality of life update, which I would also be happy to help out with, because this level definitely has potential to be enjoyable and deserves to be a good level. As of right now though, this wasn't at all worth playing and I would strongly advise to stay away from this.
