I am postponing COMPUTER Week to next week, as I am only streaming one night this week. Which begs the question: what do I work on in the meantime?
My order from Tech by Androda (https://androda.work/shop/) came in this week, and there's an ISA SCSI card and two BlueSCSI v2 DIY kits on my workbench, so I'm feeling scuzzy.. I mean SCSI this week!
Yes, I did order a BlueSCSI Desktop so that I have one that supports Initiator Mode, which we might take a look at - I have a hard drive or two I would like to make an image of, as well as another that I'd like to see if it can be read.
But the main reason I ordered from Tech by Androda this time around is to get some SCSI adapters that none of the BlueSCSI sellers offer: an HD68 to Desktop 50 Pin SCSI Adapter (which supports high byte termination) and a SCSI Adapter With Blinkenlights.
Yes, this order was in lieu of a Potential eBay Regret, as no one on the Open Retro SCSI Discord could definitively say that the adapter I found there would (or would not) let me plug a BlueSCSI into the external SCSI port on an SGI Octane.
Will the BlueSCSI be able to read the hard drive from the "Hot Dog Stand" Performa 6118CD? Will the Blinkenlights blink? Will I find a Centronics 50 cable anywhere in the house? You'll have to watch to find out!

Adam sent me an Apple ][+ that needs repairs, and COMPUTER is suffering from bad 74LS-series chips. Can I fix both computers using eBay (the place where I buy things I later regret)? Maybe. But the more important question is, Will there be regrets along the way?
Will COMPUTER say COMPUTER again? Will the Apple ][+ say APPLE ][ again? Will all the parts even arrive in time for this stream? Youll have to watch to find out!
