Welcome Back Winter: Snow Falls During Morning Commute
Snow, not sunshine, greeted drivers in the Twin Cities Wednesday morning as a spring snowstorm made its way through the metro.
As much as 3-6 inches were expected to accumulate in southern Minnesota, near the Iowa border.
The weather is expected to remain cool throughout Wednesday, with afternoon highs only reaching into the middle 40's.
The weather outlook gets warmer for the rest of the week into the weekend, with temperatures climbing into the lower 50's on Thursday, but with rain showers expected for Friday.
