Weather wise, record heat sweeps across the midwest this afternoon. After weeks of nearly no rain, most of Minnesota is under red flag fire danger warnings. A wild fire has been burning for quite some time in the Boundary Waters and with the high winds and continued dry weather, the conditions are ripe for more wildfires.
