Saber rattling sometimes materializes into war. If Russia carries out a preemptive attack on a EU city, it is highly unlikely that the incident will end up at the negotiating table. If what follows is nukes, it’s the end of our species. It’s the end of Man not because the bombs kill everyone. It’s the end because the global economy will not be able to recover.
