First off first off first off.
I dont wanna be first. DD: But I also dont want someone to steal Riku.
So, sorry to anybody who was planning on using Riku... But I WAS gonna use Cloud, Sora or Yuna at first, but I thought theyd be more popular... :/ So I didnt.
I wasnt sure how to go about starting this, to he honest. xDDD Its most likely wrong.
The nub and gist of the story, however, is already in the description for the prolouge. So I built off of it and made up some relationships and such. The idea was that Riku sorta got the psychic power from nowhere, as neither his parents or his older brother Zexion (they look alike! Dont judge me! D:) had any kind of abilities. (Well, yeah, Zexions ability in the KH series is illusion, which I didnt realise at first, so Riku has that ability, and Zexion doesnt, okay? xD) So they hid him away, pretending he was normal, even to the extent as to when the hunters came to visit, trying to convince the boys to come with them, when Zexion joined them, so did Riku, hoping to carry on hiding. In the end, Zexion betrayed him and tried to capture him, not succeeding but forcing Riku to live a life on the run in the end.
That all made him grow very very bitter. xD So hes gonna be the angry angsty one with a bit of a temper, the one who has a tendency to resort to violence, without really caring or thinking too hard. Oh, and also, Riku believes that, because he thinks of himself as a monster, and outcast, mainly because the hunters treat him as such, hell never be able to face his parents again, especially since he and his bro turned on each other. He gets the message from Namine whilst on the run after trying to murder one of the hunters (hence why he appeared to Roxas as Heartless!Ansem... illusion, get it? xD) and decides to find out what the other psychics are like... Even though he swears he doesnt care about anything anymore, maybe... a tiny little part of him really just wants to not be alone anymore...
Sometimes people put up walls just to see who cares enough to tear them down.
Lovely happy, charming little story there. =D
The song is the very very very beautiful acoustic version of The Kill by 30 Seconds To Mars. Cut and editted by me, of course; like it could ever be that short. xDDD

And also how I miss out a huge chunk of the song because Im not sure whether to use another Yunie dance clip or balance it out with Tidus. And I cant find many maskable actiony shots of him. -fails, whilst pointing toward the end-
Basically just a test of effects I dont normally use (making certain things black and white, flashy masked colours, etcetera) with a style of song I usually dont even go near with a bargepole. Not sure whether or not this denotes as a preview; I cant bear masking so much, it really hurts my wrist and it doesnt even look good in the end. D:
I dont know who the song is by, or why it was on my computers hard drive under the name of SOKAI 8DDDDDDDD when it clearly doesnt have anything to do with the damned pairing. I thought it might have been voices or something when I opened it. ^^;;")

Christmas has been... hectic to say the least. The last week or so has just been panicking, buying presents, wrapping countless things, family on christmas day, visiting more family on boxing day, more family the 27th, my brothers birthday yesterday...
Plus I have two papers to write over xmas which I have forgotten about.
...And more MEP parts and a BBT entry I have barely opened in Vegas.
But, anyway, most of this is a mistake. The first ten seconds are totally wrong for the story, but I was working on them without my ZIP file extractor thingy and although I had my part couldnt get at the story. I was too stubborn to ask for the story again, I figured I had it all in my head...
Lightning isnt supposed to be there. Doh. But the masking for her took so long I didnt want to delete it, so I plopped Yuna in there as well (I got them mixed up, but at least I remembered Tifa and Cloud- and, on second thought, at least I remembered Noctis and Garnet. xD)
I messed around with some flashes and stuff to attempt to cover up some bad editing. I think I made it worse, but Im nearly out of time and I have let everything pile on top of me again and I have SO much to work on before 2010.
I missed my usual xmas video, too. T-T Im sorry! I just totally ran out of time and basically didnt manage even a second of the damned thing in Vegas. Maybe I can do a quickie for New Years...?

This is old. REALLY old.
July 6, 2008 old, to be exact. I never bothered to upload this; I dont know why. Ive got a couple of others taking up space on my computer as well, so (Im warning you now) Im probably putting those up as well.
I didnt do much to the original video- just added a texture, watermark thing and put a white border behind the WEIRD aspect ratio. xD According to my computer, thats widescreen, so imagine how tiny it was before, huh?
Heres my original drabble from 08- guess I typed it all out in advance then gave up and dint upload it. ;D
One horrible, unexpected day, Tidus, Yunas fiancée, committed suicide for no apparent reason. He jumped off the edge of the airship one overcast morning, and was killed instantly. Hed given no warning, or even a sign he felt depressed or suicidal to Yuna, whom hed only spoken with the night before. Yuna was heartbroken, and, as she and her best friend, Rikku, kept travelling, she dreamt more and more of him. Every place they revisited, she remembered, and waited days and days each time for him to return to her somehow. She cried often, and, even though Rikku did her best to cheer Yuna up, it never truly worked.
Growing desperate and worried about her, Rikku went to see Lenne, Yunas sister. Lenne agreed to help Yuna, and suggested the two spend more time together. Eventually, they both started a show together, during which Yuna was able to sing about how she felt, as a way of reaching out to Tidus. She told her story, and touched the hearts of everyone in Spira.
Then, one night, after a particularly successful show, she visited the Farplane, and he was waiting. Tidus was there, and, hearing her singing, had found his way through the millions of lost souls to see her again. Hearing her voice, just the heartbreaking songs she sang, were enough to pull Tidus back into the world of the living again. However, when he found her, he was urgent, telling her to run
It turned out that Tidus had given his life to activate Vegnagun, a deadly weapon. But, now he was no longer just a bunch of pyreflies in the Farplane, soldiers from Bevelle were trying to kill him again, and in doing so would make sure to scatter his soul around the world, so that he could never come back again, and Yuna would never be able to piece him back together no matter how loud she sang, or how far she travelled... The two were trapped, and, as the soldiers were about to shoot them, Tidus put himself between the bullets and Yuna. Although the impact threw Yuna to the ground, she was barely hurt at all. Tidus, on the other hand, was dying fast. He reached out for her, as the life faded from his eyes, and his body faded into pyreflies once more. Unable to move from shock, Yuna lay there crying, knowing shed been so close to him again, and hed slipped away
Trapped behind the soldiers as she tried to run to Yuna and Tidus rescue, Rikku was shocked as, when Yuna got to her feet, trying to put on a brave face, she whispered so quietly it was barely audible, addressing the pyreflies disappearing into the night;

Aghhhh the final cut of the song is... not the best, lmao, but I ran out of Alyssa clips entirely and was facing another 15+ seconds of chorus.
This is an AU and has a PLOT because I, Boo Boo the Fool, like to make things complicated and I will NEVER CHANGE.
Alyssa gets roped into the group during XIIIs canon plot, after watching her friend Nena Stein die during the Purge. (Luna/Stella, since XIII-2 never has Nena appear in-game). She splits off with Vanille when the group go their separate ways after Lake Bresha/The Vile Peaks, but eventually finds out Vanilles identity and resentment builds.
Or something dramatic like that. Idk. I just love this song, man.

The picture (yes, that badly drawn one) I did in about ten minutes. It was only pose practise, and originally wasnt supposed to be for anything, but I changed the hair designs a little, and stuck Rikus glove things on the guy, and hopefully it wasnt too shabby. And the colouring...! Ooh, my first try actually attempting an edited colouring on a video. No texture for a change, I just somehow (dont ask me how I did it, it was a miracle) turned everything all buttery and glowy. o.e

This was meant to be for Shipping Wars, but I get that its probably too late to count. My laptop broke, not sure why, blah blah, thought Id lost everything but we recovered the hard drive, and bam! Heres my Noctis/Zack angsty Seperation themed thing.
It also has a story. Whoops.
Zack and Noctis are together and happy- despite Noctis being in a position of power within the aristocracy/monarchy, little fuss is raised about him and Zack being an item. Etro, goddess of death and all that, repeatedly tries to tempt Noct into making a deal with her since she evidently fancies the idea of having a ~prince~ doing her bidding, but Zack is adamant that Noct stays away from her, no matter what happens.
A war breaks out, and even though Noctis manages to avoid Zack having to be conscripted/drafted for it, Zack rebels since he doesnt want to sit around feeling useless and runs off to try and fight. Trying to follow him, Noct gets there too late, and finds his dead body, understandably breaking down.
However, while mourning, he decides he cant watch him be buried, and goes and gives in to Etro in exchange for Zacks life- binding them both to Etro. For a while, he tries to keep poor Zack oblivious as to whats happened, pretending nothing has changed- but struggles to outright lie to him, which is what catches him out, as well as the fact that hes behaving oddly without meaning to and refusing to let him out in public . So when Zack jokes about Etro... he doesnt respond, leading Zack to come to the horrified realisation that the dreams hes had about dying and Etro all happened, were all real.
Zack snaps at him and leaves, but finds out pretty fast that his death and resurrection are big news, and a lot of people, convinced its unnatural, want him dead. Cornered by soldiers, he picks up his sword and tries to fight them off. Eventually, Noct realises that Zack must be in trouble, and he dashes off to try and help. By the time he gets there, there are only a few soldiers left, but his arrival distracts Zack and they manage to hold him down.
Noctis lets the heart of Etro take over, and slaughters them with minimal effort. When Zack shouts at him for being an idiot and taking on that sort of power for selfish reasons, for a moment he moves as if to attack him, causing him to back off. Noct resists enough to not harm Zack, but the strain causes him to pass out.
When they return home, although hes guilty for abandoning him, Zack tells Noctis that he just cant stand to be with someone he cant trust, that they cant be together anymore. Sick of the lies, and hoping to escape his enslavement to Etro by getting out to fight elsewhere, with a few apologies he leaves as Noctis starts to regain consciousness, dazed and confused.
When Zack leaves, he doesnt wake up again until footsteps fall within that chamber again.
It isnt Zack. But the heart takes over, and even if he doesnt want to move, doesnt want to do anything, he stands up. He doesnt have a choice.
Bonus thingie dont know if it still counts:
My NOTP is Riku/Xion.
Simply because I cant see any grounding whatsoever for it. While I think Xions character is flat and dull, there at least might be some inclination towards putting her with Roxas or Axel or Namine or someone who she spent time with. Even though Riku had a lot of cutscenes with her, he was either beating the shit out of her, or talking about getting Sora back. I just... couldnt see chemistry there at all, and to me it seems like people desperately trying to pair Riku off with a girl, because omfg ew the yaois...!
