There's lots of things I'd do differently if I was learning guitar again, especially when it comes to fingerstyle techniques.
In this video I'm focusing on one particular thing that I'd focus on first and that would be learning to control my fingers independently from my thumb, rather than focusing so much on picking patterns.
Picking patterns are great for getting started and sometimes that's very important as well to just get started and have fun but personally I would of focused more on my finger and thumb independence.
