Heidi Irrig got fascinated with chemistry because it connects to so many other areas of science and life. Her goal at Syngenta is to take the chemistry knowledge from the lab and make it applicable to other parts of the world. After joining the American Chemical Society in college, she has gone on to be chair of the Division of Agrochemicals to advocate for science and export issues. #ProudToBeAChemist
